Prime Focus is a major player in Bollywood, providing VFX, DI and equipment rental services to many of India’s leading film-makers. Since the company’s inception in 1997, the Bollywood film industry has been a key factor in Prime Focus’ phenomenal success and together they have created some of Indian film’s most ambitious titles. These include ‘Love Story 2050’, ‘Chandni Chowk to China’, ‘Guzaarish’, ‘Blue’ and more recently ‘My Name is Khan’ and ‘RA. One’ which have gone on to receive international acclaim.
Many of the artists from the Bollywood division have experience of working on major Hollywood films as part of Prime Focus’ WorldSourcing model which utilises talent and infrastructure from across its worldwide network. The team has been recogised for its continued excellence and commitment to push the boundaries in terms of creativity and technology and has received various awards including FICCI BAF’s Apsara’s, EME’s, GIMA’s, and IIFA’s.
